Redshift zapnete následujícím příkazem, informace o parametrech redshift -h, lze vytvořit konfigurační soubor.

redshift -l 49.11:16.36 -t 5700:3600 -g 0.8 -m randr -v 

Pokud je redshift spuštěn, lze jej dočasně zapnout vypnout signálem USR1

pkill -USR1 redshift
